Di sebuah sudut dunia yang heningnya dipenuhi isak dan jerit, Gaza terus memanggil kita. Bukan sekadar berita duka yang lewat begitu saja, tapi seruan dari hati yang digerus bom dan reruntuhan. Di sana, bukan hanya nyawa yang melayang, tapi juga harga diri dunia yang seolah mati rasa.
Hingga pertengahan Juni 2025, lebih dari 55 ribu jiwa telah menjadi korban keganasan militer Israel. Mayoritas dari mereka adalah perempuan dan anak-anak. Rumah, sekolah, rumah sakit—semuanya rata dengan tanah. Tapi, lebih menyakitkan dari itu semua adalah: dunia, terutama dunia Islam, memilih bungkam. Diam yang memekakkan.
Apakah kita sudah mati rasa? Ataukah kita sudah terlalu nyaman dalam sekat-sekat semu yang diwariskan penjajah ratusan tahun lalu? Di sinilah persoalan itu bermula: dunia Islam kini terpecah, bukan karena tak punya kekuatan, tapi karena tak lagi punya keberanian untuk bersatu.
Betapa miris menyaksikan negara-negara Arab seperti Mesir yang justru menutup akses bantuan kemanusiaan di Rafah. Sementara rakyat Palestina berteriak meminta pertolongan, para penguasa Arab memilih rapat dalam diam dan sibuk menjaga “hubungan diplomatik” dengan penjajah. Bahkan, demonstrasi pro-Palestina di negara-negara tersebut ditekan, dibungkam, bahkan dikriminalisasi.
Ini bukan hanya pengabaian. Ini pengkhianatan.
Tragedi Gaza bukan sekadar bencana kemanusiaan. Ia adalah cermin besar yang memantulkan wajah retak umat Islam hari ini. Kita terpecah dalam bendera, paspor, dan lagu kebangsaan. Padahal, Islam datang bukan untuk membangun tembok, melainkan menjembatani manusia dalam satu ikatan: akidah dan kemanusiaan.
Sistem negara-bangsa—warisan Sykes-Picot dan kolonialisme Eropa—telah menumpulkan solidaritas kita. Palestina tak lagi dilihat sebagai bagian dari tubuh umat, tapi hanya sebagai “urusan luar negeri.” Seolah, darah yang tumpah di Gaza tak punya hubungan dengan kita yang hidup damai di Jakarta, Kairo, Riyadh, atau Jakarta.
Padahal, sejarah Islam membuktikan, ketika satu wilayah Muslim diserang, maka seluruh umat wajib membelanya. Ini bukan teori. Ini prinsip. Para ulama sepakat: ketika darah Muslim tumpah, diam adalah dosa. Bahkan, Nabi Muhammad ﷺ mengingatkan, siapa yang melihat kezhaliman tapi tidak berusaha menghentikannya, maka seluruh umat bisa ditimpa azab bersama.
Jadi pertanyaannya sekarang: sampai kapan kita diam?
Umat Islam butuh lebih dari sekadar kecaman di media sosial. Kita butuh kesadaran kolektif bahwa yang terjadi di Gaza hari ini bukan hanya ujian bagi mereka, tapi juga ujian bagi kita semua: apakah masih ada nurani, atau kita sudah menyerah pada kemapanan dan ketakutan?
Dan lebih dari itu, sudah saatnya kita bertanya lebih dalam: mengapa umat Islam yang jumlahnya miliaran ini justru tampak lemah dan tak berdaya? Jawabannya: karena tak ada perisai. Tak ada kepemimpinan sejati yang menyatukan kekuatan kita. Dulu ada Khilafah—sebuah institusi yang menjadi tameng umat. Kini, yang ada hanya kepala-kepala negara yang saling berpaling.
Gaza tak butuh air mata kita semata. Ia butuh keberanian. Butuh kesadaran. Dan butuh aksi nyata.
Sudah cukup kita mengutuk Israel. Sudah terlalu sering kita menyalahkan Barat. Tapi mari jujur: luka Gaza juga diperparah oleh pengkhianatan para pemimpin Muslim sendiri—mereka yang punya kekuasaan, tapi tak punya keberpihakan.
Umat Islam harus berani menuntut perubahan yang lebih mendasar. Kita butuh solidaritas, bukan basa-basi diplomatik. Kita butuh keberanian, bukan lagi seruan damai yang kosong makna. Dan yang terpenting, kita butuh penyatuan kekuatan politik umat, agar tragedi seperti ini tak terus terulang dalam diam yang mematikan.
Gaza memang jauh. Tapi luka mereka, adalah luka kita semua.
